Sell My Ferrari?

Enzo Ferrari was more interested in racing cars than making them when he formed the Scuderia Ferrari (Ferrari Stable, or Team Ferrari) in the 1920s. It was only to fund this racing team that Ferrari began to make automobiles to sell to the public, beginning with the 125 S in 1947.  Nonetheless, racing has played an essential role in building this premier company.

The famous symbol of the Ferrari horse was created in 1923, when Ferrari won at the Savio track in Ravenna. There, impressed by Ferrari’s victory, the Countess Paolina offered him the use of the horse symbol, which her son, a flying ace and national hero in the First World War, had painted on his plane. Now the brand is instantly recognisable both from their symbol and their use of the national colour red in racing for nearly a century,  both examples of a proud and fiery Italian manufacturer of luxury sports cars.
